Stand-alone light control sensors are a cost-effective, reliable, and a simple solution to significantly reduce energy consumption, specially in commercial buildings. The sensors automatically register either the presence or absence of people, and dim or turn the lighting on or off accordingly, and in accordance to the client’s specifications. Sensors also monitor natural light and they adjust the luminaries in response as well. Sensors are easily retro-fitted, and can also be used to control HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning). They are conveniently flexible as they can be used directly within light fittings and can also be easily reprogrammed from handheld transmitters to maximise convenience and efficiency.
