An opportunity for Service Electrician has presented itself for a full time permanent position within the Australian Smart Group. A leader in the Electrical and Building Automation Industry.
As a Service Electrician, you will be responsible for the following:
- Read plans or technical diagrams.
- Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
- Identify electrical problems and issues with a variety of testing devices.
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Codes.
- Direct and train apprentices to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment
- Have a good understanding of control systems including, C-Bus, DALI etc.
- Ability to use a tablet and smartphone for times sheets and updating of jobs.
- Ability to use our Customer Management System for closing off and updating of works.
- Ability to communicate with clients effectively.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Ability to work full-time hours with options for overtime as needed to support the company.
- ACT/NSW Electrical License is required.
