The Australian Government once again trusted us to bring our expertise alongside Monarch Projects as the builders of this project. The headquarters to the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) required a demo and refit of its offices, which comprised more than 120 workstations.

Australian Smart Group was entrusted to assess, design, install and deliver the best office lighting for each workpoint, falling in line with the best practice standards. Australian Smart Group supplied new data communication systems and power to each workpoint. ASG installed a C-Bus Lighting Control System that was programmed and commissioned in-house. This was the perfect choice as the lighting control systems is tied into the 6 floors from which AMSA operates in Canberra. It all works together by a network bridge and a touchscreen to provide the most comprehensive lighting solution.

ASG delivered both optimal functionality and energy saving features as the light fittings are DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface). The light fittings around the perimeter are all set for ‘harvest’ – so when enough ambient light comes into the building we can dim the perimeter lighting as an energy-efficient measure.
